"We worked with Gary for our engagement photos. Before our session, we had a 30 minute video call to talk about out wedding plans and what we wanted in the session. From the start, he was very communicative and transparent and offered great advice about what to look for/questions to ask any photographers even if we did not end up working with him. Our photos came out beautifully and we were so happy with them. My fiance and I are both introverted people who had never had professional photos taken, so we were nervous and Gary made us feel very comfortable. We ended up having fun and enjoyed it more than we expected. We wanted to use him for our wedding, but unfortunately he got booked for our date the same day we made a deposit for our venue! I was sooo sad. He was very understanding, and provided recommendations for other photographers he trusted to do a good job with our photos. He still offered to help to answer any questions or provide guidance on vendors and logistics after the fact. I should mention that we won a free session, and he was still this thoughtful and considerate after not securing us for a wedding shoot. I will be recommending him to everyone I know who is in need of a wedding photographer! I also feel that he would be a very good advocate for any couple he works with during the process and even during the wedding itself. I found out after that a coworker of mine had Gary as her wedding photographer and also had a good experience.
